Sheep Are Counting Me

I've been trying to put together this mix ever since June when I made a muxtape (RIP sorta) with the same name. Also reading on Peters (friends only) blog about how he is getting into New Found Glory finally (Sort of because of the cover included on this mix) sparked me to put this up instead of another I've been working on.

The first and last songs on this mix are covers by a girl who posts on the b9er, they are home recordings but both sound awesome. Another highlight of this mix is of course the combination of two of my favorite things, Quicksand and The Smiths. Oh and pay attention to a few lyric changes by H2O and Trial. U R Moshing.

Hollow Words Will Burn

This mix comes from me getting on a heavy kick. It all spawned from the Fantomas track included in the mix and came to a head when I realized when sitting on the computer almost half my jams were State Of Conviction and Day Of Mourning. Now like the last record I'll pull some things to point out and sound like a total idiot. (Or it could be that I saw Bulldoze last week?)

1. State Of Conviction. That first bass line is crushing, fast with groove parts.
2. Lie And Wait. One of the best live band I have seen in a while. A band to look out for if you already are not in the know.
3. Narrows. Singer from Botch... Bass player from Unbroken. Nuff Said.
4. Day Of Mourning. Heavy as fuck. Perfect vocals with an extra added perfect by having Dwid on the track.
5. Moutheater. Heavy in that 90s rock feel that if you don't love you are crazy.

You know the other stuff (or pose hard). Moshing is encouraged.

Do You Want To Live Forever?

01 - State Of Conviction - Brink Of Extinction
02 - Lie And Wait - Do You Want To Live Forever?
03 - Narrows - Crooked Tongues
04 - Biohazard - Shades Of Grey
05 - Day Of Mourning - Demons Who Wear The Same Face
06 - Neanderthal - Brain Tourniquet
07 - Fantomas - Henry Portrait Of A Serial Killer
08 - Anthrax - Among The Living
09 - Moutheater - Signs Of Weakness
10 - Shai Hulud - Set Your Body Ablaze
